NELA'S only PT clinic specializing SOLEY in PELVIC FLOOR THERAPY .
What is Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy?
Would you be surprised to know Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy began in 1977? It has evolved over the years as research and evidence has improved, so it's no longer "just kegals". The pelvic floor muscles are a group of muscles that work together with your postural muscles. Sometimes they can become tight, weak, or silent. Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on restoring normal function in these muscles, but also determining the driver. Assessing the trunk, low back, pelvis, hip muscles, and even the foot helps to solve the underlying problem of where/why it all started. Utilizing a holistic approach, we are able to help you heal, return to exercise, perform your daily work, and simply live without pain or dysfunction.
